Duties

- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems to ensure optimal watering schedules for plants
- Support horticultural activities by planting, pruning, transplanting, and harvesting crops within the greenhouse environment
- Use hand tools and mechanical equipment to perform routine tasks such as adjusting shelving, repairing structures, or installing equipment
- Handle heavy lifting of plant trays, soil bags, and other materials safely and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote a safe and productive environment
- Monitor plant health and growth, reporting any issues related to pests or disease promptly




- Support general gardening tasks including soil preparation, fertilization, and watering as needed

Requirements

- Prior experience or interest in horticulture or gardening is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Basic knowledge of irrigation systems and mechanical tools is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and consistently throughout shifts
- Strong attention to detail with good manual dexterity for handling hand tools and small components
- Basic math skills for measuring soil, fertilizer quantities, or adjusting irrigation timers
- Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions with physical stamina for long periods of standing or walking
- A proactive attitude with the ability to follow safety protocols diligently
