About the role You’ll own growth for LampPost’s users and host, with a particular focus on newer cities. You’ll work closely with our CMO, who owns the brand and content. You’ll own the systems that turn that content into growth.

What you’ll own

- Top of funnel strategies: working to build and implement organic and paid social media & advertising options
- Systemization: working to make existing systems repeatable and more efficient, helping to refine existing tracking system
- Host acquisition: building repeatable paid & organic systems to bring event hosts onto LampPost, including meeting and pitching them yourself
- Growth loops: finding ways the app and newsletter can grow themselves, such as referrals and sharing
- Creators and ambassadors:



finding and working with the local creators who help us launch new cities
- Supporting content: helping on organic social and short-form video when it serves a growth goal
- Internal collaboration : Work closely with other team members & support in problem solving + improvement across business channels

Requirements:

- A desire to lead a humming growth engine, grow with a business and help it scale into something big
- Confident in growing userbases
- Comfortable working with and learning new internal systems
- Keen eye for where processes can be improved and systemized
- Excellent verbal communication and organizational skills
- What we don’t care about: degrees or years in the field. Hungry beginners are welcome

Bonus if you:

- Have Meta & Google Ads experience
- Know the events scene in a LampPost city
- Have experience in a startup environment
- Have built your own tools, side projects or businesses in the past
- Have worked with event hosts or in the arts & culture space previously
- Have an eye for zooming out on an existing system and seeing where it can be improved
