We're Hiring! Head Chef at The Duke Pub and Grill

Location: West Lethbridge, AB

Pay: Competitive hourly wage + tips + health advantages The Duke Pub is looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our team!

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a busy pub, takes pride in the food they put out, and knows how to keep a kitchen running smoothly. We need someone who can lead a team, stay organized, and bring fresh ideas to the table.

What you'll be responsible for:

- Running day-to-day kitchen operations and leading the kitchen team
- Managing food ordering and working with suppliers
- Creating staff schedules and managing kitchen labour costs
- Helping develop new menu items, features, and specials
- Managing inventory, food costs, and waste
- Making sure food quality and consistency are maintained
- Training and supporting kitchen staff
- Keeping the kitchen clean, organized, and up to health and safety standards

What we're looking for:
- Previous experience as a Head Chef, Sous Chef, or Kitchen Manager
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with others
- Experience with food ordering,



inventory, and cost control
- Someone who can stay calm and organized when things get busy
- A good attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Someone who takes ownership of their kitchen and cares about the food going out
