Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, monitor patient health, and collaborate with our pharmacists and physicians to deliver optimal care. Company vehicles, phones, and supplies are provided.

This is a part-time daily position with opportunities for future position growth.

Candidates for this role must have experience with daily dispense healthcare, community outreach, and OAT medication administration. Experience in mental health and addictions care, seniors care, diabetes care, and youth care is an asset.

Key Responsibilities

- Administer medications, treatments,



and dosages as prescribed by physicians and prepared daily by our pharmacy team. This will include oral & transdermal medications, insulin injections, and eye/ear drop applications.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs and symptoms, as well as occasional routine clinical tasks, including wound care and dressing changes.
- Complete patient/clinical reports and documentation with accuracy.
- Effective communication with patients, nursing staff, and pharmacy staff.
- Organize and prepare patient files within pharmacy workflows.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Active registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
- Valid BC Driver’s License.
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred.
