We are seeking experienced Heavy Duty Cleaners to perform intensive cleaning and maintain high standards of cleanliness across commercial and industrial facilities.
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy-duty cleaning of floors, washrooms, and high-traffic areas.
- Operate floor scrubbers, buffers, and other cleaning equipment when required.
- Clean and maintain commercial and industrial spaces.
- Remove built-up dirt, stains, and debris.
- Handle cleaning chemicals safely and follow WHMIS and workplace safety procedures.
- Complete assigned cleaning tasks according to schedules and quality standards.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and supply shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements:
- Previous heavy-duty or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Experience operating cleaning equipment is an asset.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling procedures is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
