Heavy Duty Mechanic – Brave Adventures

Brave Adventures is looking for a dependable, self-motivated Heavy Duty Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of heavy equipment, trucks, trailers and other equipment.

This is a field-based position, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable working independently, outdoors and in remote locations. The right candidate will be able to troubleshoot problems, prioritize repairs and get the job done safely with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

- Heavy equipment, truck and trailer maintenance and repair
- Preventative maintenance, inspections and troubleshooting
- Mechanical, hydraulic and electrical diagnostics
- Able to work independently and manage workload
- Comfortable working outdoors and in varying weather conditions
- Willing to travel to remote work locations as required




- Maintain accurate service and repair records
- Valid driver’s licence
- Robust work ethic, reliability and attention to safety

Assets: Red Seal/Journeyperson certification, Heavy Equipment or Truck & Transport Technician certification, Class 1 or 3 licence, air brake endorsement, welding/fabrication experience, and commercial vehicle inspection experience. Competitive wages based on experience and qualifications.
