Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Group Home House Manager to oversee the daily operations at one of 6 group homes.

Battlefords Residential Services Inc. (BRSI) is a non-profit, community-based organization providing residential, day program and support services for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities through the operation of 6 group homes providing service for 35 individuals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in disability care/support, and experience in managing staff and residents. This role is vital in ensuring a safe, compassionate, and well-organized environment for our residents, with a focus on maintaining high standards of care and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of staff members, including caregiving and administrative personnel
- Oversee resident care plans, ensuring personalized attention and adherence to healthcare protocols
- Manage medication administration in compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies
- Monitor resident well-being, providing support as needed
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and healthcare providers to promote a supportive community environment





The hours of work currently are Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM with 12 PM-1 PM off for lunch. On-call responsibilities on a rotational basis with other managers- one weekend every 8 weeks. Monthly EDO. Qualifications

- An acceptable combination of training and experience in working with persons who have intellectual and physical disabilities; Training is available for the right candidate.
- Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, managerial, and personal care skills;
- Leadership skills with the ability to work in a team environment while providing direction and supervision;
- Can effectively multi-task while prioritizing the workload with good time management
- CLSD Level 1 & 2;

- OH&S; Level 1,2 & Supervisory;
- CPR and 1st Aide Certificates;
- Valid driver's license;
- Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is required.
