Duties
- Operate hydrovac trucks equipped with high-pressure water systems and vacuum units to excavate around utilities and sensitive infrastructure
- Conduct thorough pre-operation inspections of equipment, ensuring all safety features are functional and maintenance needs are addressed
- Safely navigate construction sites, adhering to all safety protocols and traffic control procedures
- Collaborate with team members to interpret plans, locate underground utilities, and execute precise excavations
- Perform routine maintenance on hydrovac equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
Experience
- Proven experience operating hydrovac equiptment.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record for safe transportation of equipment and materials
- Robust understanding of construction site safety protocols and best practices
