About the Role

We are looking for an Operations Implementation Manager / Senior Manager to support regional warehouse operations, lead new operational projects, and drive improvements in productivity, cost, and service quality.

Based in Toronto, you will work closely with warehouse leaders and cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges, implement standardized processes, and support new warehouse launches. The appointment level will depend on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Operations Support & Project Implementation

- Support warehouses across the region by investigating complex operational issues and coordinating practical solutions.
- Lead the implementation of new operational projects, including site assessments, warehouse layout planning, capacity calculations, and staffing and equipment requirements.
- Coordinate project activities and follow through on execution to support successful launches and operational readiness.

Efficiency & Cost Optimization

- Analyze regional operational data to identify workflow bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Develop and implement action plans to improve labor productivity, reduce cost per parcel, and strengthen operational performance.
- Track results and work with site teams to sustain improvements.

Safety, Quality & Compliance

- Review warehouse operations for compliance with applicable safety, quality, and operational requirements.
- Work with site leaders to address gaps and follow up on corrective actions.




- Support preparations and responses for local government inspections.

Cross-functional Collaboration

- Coordinate with customer-facing, quality control, commercial, and other internal teams to address operational needs.
- Translate business requirements into actionable plans and drive issues through to resolution.

Training & Standardization

- Train frontline warehouse and transportation leaders on operational processes, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and continuous improvement tools.
- Help develop and standardize workflows and share effective practices across sites.

Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or above; a degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- At least 5 years of experience in logistics operations, operational implementation, or warehouse and distribution management.
- Experience with new warehouse launches or operational improvement projects is preferred.
- Strong understanding of warehouse and transportation workflows, safety practices, and process standardization.
- Strong project management, problem-solving, and execution skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate work across multiple teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience using data analysis tools such as Power BI.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
