Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Custodian/Industrial Janitor to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across our industrial facility, supporting overall facilities maintenance, and ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all staff. Your proactive approach will help uphold our standards of safety, hygiene, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

- Perform routine cleaning of production areas, offices, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies.
- Conduct commercial cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and disinfecting surfaces to ensure a hygienic setting.
- Maintain cleanliness of industrial equipment, fixtures, and workstations to support smooth operations.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks, including reporting repairs or hazards.




- Follow safety protocols during all cleaning and maintenance activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
- Use proper cleaning chemicals and equipment in accordance with safety guidelines.
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning procedures as scheduled or needed.

Requirements

- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety standards.
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills to report issues or hazards promptly.
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not mandatory.
