Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair commercial, industrial and residential refrigeration service technician.
- Diagnose mechanical issues, perform troubleshooting to identify root causes swiftly.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and energy efficiency.
- Read and interpret detailed schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair processes.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC systems, boilers, or refrigeration requirements.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities,



repairs performed, and system modifications for compliance and future reference.

Qualifications

- Proven experience as Journeyman Refrigeration Mechanic technician with a strong background in refrigeration systems.
- Mechanical knowledge spanning HVAC systems, boilers, appliances, plumbing and construction.
- Ability to read schematics accurately and apply technical manuals effectively.
- Hands-on experience with site repairs and general maintenance tasks in commercial or industrial settings.
- Familiarity with HVAC principles, boiler operation, and refrigeration cycle troubleshooting.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

This position is a unionized role with Local 8, company vehicle and devices provided. After Hour on-call rotation is required. No solicitors please!
