In this energetic role, you’ll support the culinary team in a fast-paced kitchen, assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety standards are met, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized. Responsibilities

- Assist with food preparation tasks, including chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning meals to keep a fast-paced kitchen running smoothly
- Support cooking activities by following recipes and instructions from our chef or kitchen supervisors
- Handle food safely by adhering to proper hygiene practices, storage procedures, and sanitation standards
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests or staff, ensuring timely delivery and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment throughout shifts
- Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to ensure smooth kitchen workflow
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone

Requirements





- Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Basic knowledge of serving, food handling, meal preparation, and kitchen safety standards
- Ability to stay focused and work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting or moving supplies
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety protocols
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting the culinary team
- Willingness to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety
