Licensed Plumber / Lead Technician

- Take a hands-on leadership role managing service calls, installations, and projects from start to finish.

- Work independently while collaborating with our office, apprentices, other tradespeople, and contractors.

Responsibilities

- Diagnose, repair, and maintain residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Install and service piping, fixtures, water heaters, sump pumps, sewage pumps, and related equipment.
- Complete renovation plumbing, rough-ins, and finish installations.
- Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and recommend repairs.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications.
- Lead work on site, coordinate materials, and communicate progress with the office.
- Explain findings and recommended solutions clearly and professionally to customers.
- Mentor apprentices and demonstrate high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer service.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Follow applicable plumbing codes,



building codes, and workplace safety requirements.
- Perform lifting and material handling required for installations and repairs.
- Complete accurate job notes, photos, time entries, and material records.
- Keep tools, equipment, vehicles, and work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications & Skills

- Valid Ontario Plumber Certificate of Qualification (306A).
- Experience in residential and commercial plumbing service and installations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to lead jobs, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
- Experience using plumbing hand tools and power tools.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately.
- Math skills for measurements, material calculations, and estimating.
- Robust communication, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to perform the physical duties of the role.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s licence.
- Criminal background check required.

Pay: $37.00-$47.00 per hour

Licence/Certification
