Responsibilities

- Prepare and assemble menu items according to recipes and presentation standards, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Cook food efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation practices
- Assist in food handling, storage, and inventory management to minimize waste and ensure freshness
- Support the kitchen team during busy service periods by maintaining a clean, organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures related to cooking equipment, knife handling, and food storage
- Collaborate with servers and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent food service experiences




- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a lively, team-oriented kitchen environment

Requirements

- Prior food service experience or restaurant experience is highly preferred; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and meal assembly
- Understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy pots or trays, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
- Basic knowledge of serving procedures and customer service principles is a plus
- A proactive attitude with a passion for the food industry and a desire to develop culinary skills
