Job Title: Linehaul Truck Driver – Side Dump Super B (Class 1)
Location: Calgary, AB Pay: Starting at $35.00/hour Job Type: Full-time
Who We Are LinearTrucklines is a growing Calgary-based carrier that runs regional and long-haul routes across Alberta and beyond. We're adding experienced Class 1 drivers to our team. You'll get steady miles, well-maintained equipment and a dispatch team that has your back.
What Your Day Looks Like
- Hauling side dump Super B trains on scheduled regional and long-haul runs
- Doing thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting any defects right away
- Keeping your logbook and trip paperwork accurate and up to date
- Uploading bills of lading and load documents electronically at the end of each day
- Staying in touch with dispatch and customers so they know where loads are and when they'll arrive
- Following safety rules, company procedures and transportation regulations on every trip
What You Bring
- A valid Class 1 licence and at least 3 years of professional Class 1 driving
- A clean driver's abstract
- Hands-on experience pulling side dumps or Super B configurations (a strong asset)
- Confidence doing walkaround inspections and spotting mechanical issues early
- Willingness to complete a road test in Calgary and pass drug and alcohol screening
- Two work references from past employers
- Residence close to Calgary or Regina
- Reliability, positive communication and a safety-first approach
