Young and Young is a leading importer and distributor of authentic Asian groceries, supplying major supermarkets and independent groceries with brands. To keep up with the demand and our expanding business we are looking for a new Marketing Assistant to join our team!

:

Channel & Category management

· Develop product presentation and marketing support plans to promote and expand product category in supermarket channels.

· Organize products taste testing create testing form and gather feedback and insight from sales team and office for potential NPD.

· Research NPD and prepare presentation for sales pitch.

In-Store Merchandising and demonstration

· Work with sales team to optimize store visibility and secure off-location display according to brands’ AP and banner annual promotion plan.

· Keep track of point-of-purchase tools such as shippers, premiums and POSM to banners and collaborate with sales team to display in-store.

· Main responsible for demonstration arrangement such as planning demonstration schedule according to brands’ AP and supermarket agreement, ensure sufficient stocks for demonstration.

· Produce POSM such as product posters, wobbler and endcap board, etc. to help brands stand out during promotion.

· Collaborate with sales team and demo agency to collect demonstrations pictures and off-location display images for compiling into ppt report for future brand review.

Budget Management





· Monitor East Canada marketing budget to ensure all allocated activities are executed timely.

· Track brand purchase vs allocated budget to ensure accurate expenditure.

· Evaluates monthly debit memo and marketing expense invoice, enters charge code, scan and entry the claimable invoice into internal system for tracking and claiming purposes.

· Review and process POSM and demo payment invoice upon approval by supervisor.

Sales Support

· Review sales data, prepare responsible brands distribution report and collaborate with sales team to improve brand distribution and performance.

· Support sales manager in filling product information for recent listing, item maintenance and promotional contract.

· Arrange sample requests, build shippers and distribute shippers, premiums and POSM to retail stores and collect in-store display images.

· NPD research and prepare assigned new product presentation.

· Monthly market visits to monitor retail execution, market research, and track competitor activities.

Required background & Experience:

· Fluent in English and Mandarin

· Good to have Cantonese

· Driver license and reliable vehicle for store visit

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office

· Experience Entry or Intermediate (2-3 years experience)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,864.00 per year
