About us

Enigma Interconnect Corp. is a printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturer in Burnaby, BC. Our production depends on precise, reliable equipment. We’re looking for an experienced millwright to join our team and keep our plant running safely and efficiently.

The role

You’ll be responsible for the maintenance, repair and installation of our production machinery. You’ll work closely with production to reduce downtime and keep equipment in safe, reliable condition.

What you’ll do

- Routinely inspect production machinery and equipment
- Plan and carry out preventive maintenance programs
- Find and fix mechanical, electrical and control problems
- Repair or replace faulty parts and machinery to reduce downtime
- Install, commission and align new equipment
- Take apart, move and put back together machinery as production needs change
- Keep maintenance records and follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout
- Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns on the production floor

What we’re looking for

- Required: At least 5 years of hands-on experience maintaining and repairing industrial machinery in a manufacturing setting
- Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal or BC trade certification, or equivalent experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills: pumps, motors, drives, gearboxes, bearings, conveyors,



pneumatics and hydraulics
- Working knowledge of electrical systems and reading schematics
- Skilled with a wide range of hand tools, power tools and precision measuring instruments
- Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
- Able to work on your own and set priorities when several issues come up at once

Nice to have

- PLC experience (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Omron or similar): reading ladder logic, troubleshooting I/O, and making minor program changes
- Experience with PCB, electronics or chemical-process manufacturing equipment
- Experience with HMIs, sensors, VFDs or motion control
- Forklift or aerial lift certification

Physical requirements

- Standing and walking for long periods
- Regular bending, kneeling, climbing and lifting

What we offer

- Wage: $45.00 – $50.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
- 3% RRSP matching after 3 years (1% per year)
