MILLWRIGHT

As our Millwright, you will work closely with the Operations Lead and Maintenance Lead Hand, experience challenges and rewards and have an prospect to shape and influence our environment.

Under the guidance of our Maintenance Lead Hand, our Millwright is responsible for troubleshooting, CNC machine repair, replacement and installations as well as gearboxes, conveyor and requisitioning parts/tools. You will also ensure target and deadlines are met complying with OH&S; legislation as well as J/E Bearing and Machine’s policies. As a result, your work has a direct impact towards fulfilling business goals.

We are seeking a person with the following skill set and competencies:

- Grade 12 (OSSD) or equivalent education required.
- Minimum 2 years experience as an industrial mechanic in a manufacturing environment required.
- Hydraulic/Pneumatic, Clutch/Brake, CNC Maintenance experience is required.
- Welding, Forklift, Crane and Scissor Lift (working at heights) experience considered an asset.
- Valid Driver’s License required with a clean abstract.




- Electrical experience considered an asset.
- Certificate for Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) required.
- Certificate of Qualifications required.
- Certificate of Apprenticeship an asset.
- Have a working understanding of the OH&S; Legislation and Health and Safety Practices as they apply to the manufacturing industry.
- Process organization, time management and problem solving skills through good judgement and machining experience.
- Available to work overtime as business demands require.
- Must provide a clean criminal record check upon hire.

Your skills and competencies will help you:

- Perform various maintenance and industrial mechanic related duties including breakdown repairs on and off-site.
- Perform preventative maintenance activities.
- Complete gear reducer and pump rebuilds.
- Complete general inspections on completed work and prepare for shipping.
- Provide technical support to Supervisors as well as assist Sales and Estimators with job quotes that will include time and material estimates.
- Perform billable work on machines when required to assist the general machining department.
- Represent J/E Bearing and Machine in the highest manner possible with problem solving, troubleshooting and providing solutions for maximum customer satisfaction.




- Adhere to company policies and procedures while working efficiently and helping to create a positive work environment.
- Attend employee and production meetings as well as safety trainings/talks as required.
- Participate with 5S and new initiatives within the company.
- Work in accordance with OH&S; Legislation
