Job Summary

We are seeking a versatile and motivated Multi-Trade Handyperson / Construction Labourer to join our dynamic team in Sayward, BC, or Campbell River. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a variety of construction and maintenance projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sites. As a key member of our crew, you will perform a wide range of skilled trades and general labour tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist with construction, renovation, and restoration projects by performing carpentry, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, and painting.
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to complete tasks such as concrete finishing, masonry work, and excavation.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
- Install fixtures including cabinets, doors, windows, and other structural components with precision.
- Perform plumbing and electrical work where required, adhering to safety standards and technical specifications.
- Conduct site preparation activities such as concrete forming, caulking, sanding,



and surface finishing.
- Support project estimating efforts by providing accurate labour input and material usage estimates.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite while complying with safety protocols at all times.

Experience

- Proven construction experience with familiarity in multiple trades such as carpentry, masonry, welding, electrical work, or plumbing.
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics confidently to guide project execution.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment operation.
- Experience with concrete forming, finishing, restoration work, and flooring installation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of construction estimating processes is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety standards and quality workmanship.
