This position is on-call contract (seasonal). A successful candidate is required to be punctual with their own mode of transportation, can easily follow instructions and has a working knowledge of, and experience in facilities services, ice and snow services. These all must be performed with a thorough understanding of safety in the workplace. The position reports directly to the Site Lead and/or Operations Manager.

Responsibilities:

Job duties include, but are not limited to:

- Availability – must be available and responsive during and after snow and ice events.
- Snow Removal – Skid Steer, Loader, small tractors, shoveling, salting,



hazard assessment.
- Safety – tailgate talks, circle checks and hazard assessments, etc.
- Equipment Maintenance – cleaning, greasing, minor repairs, appearance repairs etc.
- Travel – infrequent, project or weather based.

Requirements:

- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and a clean abstract is required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial snow removal required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience operating loaders/skid steers.
- Machine maintenance experience is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with team members.
- Safety awareness of both employees and equipment.
- Candidates for the position must possess a customer service attitude and conduct themselves in a professional manner.
- Certificates in First Aid and WHMIS is an asset.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal Pay: From $30.00 per hour
