We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Osteopath to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will provide comprehensive osteopathic care to patients, focusing on improving their overall health and well-being through manual therapy techniques. Duties

- Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify musculoskeletal issues and develop personalized treatment plans
- Utilize manual therapy techniques such as soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilization, and stretching to treat various conditions
- Maintain detailed case management records, including treatment notes and progress reports, ensuring compliance with medical standards
- Educate patients on posture, ergonomics, injury prevention, and self-care strategies for long-term health benefits
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses and physiotherapists, to coordinate patient care plans
- Manage appointment scheduling efficiently using Microsoft Outlook and organize patient information with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Stay updated on medical terminology, current osteopathic practices, and acute care protocols to enhance treatment effectiveness





Skills

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for documentation and communication purposes
- Fluency in French or multilingual capabilities to serve diverse patient populations effectively
- Prior experience in hospital settings or acute care environments demonstrating robust clinical skills
- Excellent communication skills for clear patient interactions and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Mechanical knowledge related to musculoskeletal systems and therapeutic equipment usage
- Background in nursing or pediatrics is advantageous for specialized patient care scenarios
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
- Analysis skills for evaluating patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly
- Time management skills to handle a busy caseload without compromising quality of care
