ICEAVIK Nordic Wellness Spa is preparing to open Newfoundland & Labrador’s first Nordic wellness destination. Iceavik will offer a unique and luxurious experience that combines advanced wellness treatments with elements of Nordic tradition and design. We are seeking warm, professional, and guest-focused Outdoor Experience Associates to join our founding team.

As an Outdoor Experience Associate, you'll be one of the primary faces of ICEAVIK. You'll welcome guests, help them navigate their experience, answer questions, and ensure every interaction reflects the calm, welcoming, and premium environment we are creating.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality and takes pride in making people feel comfortable, cared for, and welcome.

Key Responsibilities

-Welcome and greet guests with warmth and professionalism

-Check guests in and assist with arrivals, departures, reservations, and general inquiries

-Explain the ICEAVIK experience, facilities, thermal circuit, services, and spa etiquette

-Help guests understand how to make the most of their Nordic wellness experience

-Respond to guest questions, requests, and concerns promptly and professionally

-Monitor guest areas and proactively identify opportunities to improve the guest experience

-Maintain a calm, clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout indoor guest areas

-Restock towels, robes, toiletries, and other guest amenities

-Assist with locker rooms, lounges, relaxation areas,



and other indoor spaces

-Communicate guest needs and operational issues to the appropriate team members

-Work closely with RMTs, Estheticians, and the Spa Manager

-Assist with retail sales and promote appropriate spa services, upgrades, and products

-Follow all health, safety, privacy, and operational procedures

-Support special events, promotions, and the ongoing development of the Iceavik guest experience

-Outdoor activities including tending to the fire, assisting the wood burning saunas, testing the pool chemistry, attending to guest needs

Qualifications & Experience

-Previous experience in hospitality, tourism, customer service, retail, or a guest-facing workplace is an asset

-Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

-Naturally warm, welcoming, and approachable personality

-Strong attention to detail

-Ability to remain calm and professional when dealing with challenging situations

-Comfortable working in a premium hospitality environment

-Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team

-Comfortable using computers, booking systems, and point-of-sale systems

-Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

-Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Compensation

- Competitive hourly wage of $18.00-$20.00 per hour commensurate on experience
