OORA Café + Pilates is a new specialty coffee and wellness destination in Kerrisdale, Vancouver, bringing together exceptional coffee, thoughtful hospitality, and a community-focused approach to well-being.

We’re looking for a friendly, reliable, and motivated Part-Time Barista to join our growing team and help bring the OORA experience to life.

The Role

As a Barista at OORA, you’ll prepare quality coffee, welcome guests with genuine hospitality, and help maintain a smooth and inviting café environment. We value a positive attitude, attention to detail, teamwork, and a willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

- Prepare espresso-based beverages consistently and with care.
- Steam milk and present drinks to a high standard.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, and POS systems.
- Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient customer service.
- Keep the coffee bar clean, organized, and food-safe.
- Assist with opening, closing, restocking, and daily café operations.
- Work collaboratively with teammates during busy periods.





Qualifications

- Previous barista experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of espresso preparation and milk steaming is an asset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Friendly, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow with the team.
- Weekend and flexible availability is preferred.
- FOODSAFE certification is an asset.

Chinese language skills are an asset, but not required.
