Job Summary

County Tractors & Machinery Ltd. is looking for a full-time parts person to work at its Salisbury location. County Tractors & Machinery Ltd. is a family-owned Case IH and New Holland agricultural dealership serving New Brunswick since 1988.

Reporting directly to the Parts Manager, the Parts Counterperson will be primarily responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

- Greet customers promptly and professionally.
- Manage Parts inquiries and correspondence effectively over the parts counter, by email and by phone in a timely and courteous manner.
- Establish rapport with customers by consistently providing high levels of customer service.
- Properly identify needed parts using online parts catalogues.
- Promote and enhance Parts Sales and work towards Departmental goals and objectives.
- Locate and obtain parts for non-stocked items.
- Prepare customer invoices and parts credits; process cash sale transactions using the POS system.
- Maintains shelf stock, charges out merchandise and makes necessary entries to the inventory control system.
- Accept warranty parts and ensure such parts are tagged properly.




- Maintains a clear, clean and neat working space and surrounding areas, ie: top of parts counter and behind and under counters.
- Ability to safely operate a fork-lift to load and unload freight, as required.

Qualified candidates must have a positive and upbeat attitude, take initiative, be reliable and self-motivated, have the ability to multi-task, adapt to an independent or team workplace, have basic knowledge of Microsoft computer systems and an understanding of agricultural/construction equipment. Organizational skills, superior customer service skills and strong communication skills will be imperative to the success of this position. Experience:
- Ag/Construction part sales: 2 years (preferred)
