Duties

- Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying dosage, interactions, and contraindications using comprehensive medical terminology.
- Provide personalized patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and adherence strategies to enhance treatment effectiveness.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and review medication plans tailored to individual patient needs, especially in hospital or acute care environments.
- Administer medications when required, ensuring proper techniques and documentation in compliance with safety protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to prescribed therapies, adjusting medication regimens as necessary in coordination with medical teams.




- Maintain meticulous records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and inventory management to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

- Valid pharmacist license with active registration in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Proven experience working in hospital or acute care settings, with a strong understanding of medical terminology.
- Experience providing pediatric patient care and managing complex medication regimens for diverse populations.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional patient care with empathy, professionalism, and explicit communication skills.
