Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk/Physiotherapist Assistant to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks and assisting the physiotherapist with treatment.

Duties

- Clinical Support
- Assist physiotherapists with implementing prescribed treatment plans and exercise programs.
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, ensuring correct technique and safety.
- Prepare treatment areas and equipment prior to patient sessions.
- Document patient progress and communicate observations to supervising physiotherapists.
- Support patient education on proper exercise techniques, posture, and use of equipment.

Administrative Duties
- Greet and assist patients with check-in and appointment scheduling.
- Answer phone calls and emails in a professional and timely manner.
- Manage patient files, documentation, and data entry using EMR systems.
- Assist with billing, insurance forms, and payment processing as required.
- Support the front desk team with patient reminders, bookings, and follow-ups.





Customer Service
- Provide a welcoming, professional, and supportive environment for all patients.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and accuracy.
- Promote clinic services and contribute to patient retention initiatives.
- Support patients with accessibility needs throughout their visit.

Clinic Maintenance & Cleaning
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of treatment areas, gym space, and equipment.
- Disinfect tables, machines, and tools between patient visits following clinic protocols.
- Monitor and restock supplies, linens, and sanitization materials as needed.
- Support overall clinic safety, ensuring adherence to infection control and health & safety guidelines.

Experience

- rehab clinic: 1 year (required)
- Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
- physio assistant: 1 year (preferred)
