Edith Cavell Care Centre is currently seeking a Full-Time Physiotherapist Assistant to join our rehab team.

Hours of Work:

Full-time | Monday – Friday | 8:30 – 16:30HRS

Summary of Duties

- Assist in preparing, organizing, and conducting individual and group therapeutic activities
- Participate regularly in interprofessional care teams, business, and, when requested, care conferences and resident council meetings.
- Complete clinical documentation.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of rehab supplies.
- Conduct work in a safe manner: prevention, identification, and reporting of safety issues and problems; taking corrective action where possible; attendance at safety meetings, training, and, when requested, policy development.

Qualifications/Skills

- Current registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Alberta.
- Enjoy working with the elderly
- Excellent English, including oral, & written




- Able to work successfully in an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Demonstrated skilled judgment and interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, their families, other health care team members and the community are equally essential skills.
- Proven ability to be responsible for carrying out delegated tasks with minimal supervision.
- Previous experience, preferably in a rehabilitation setting, is preferred.
