Overview

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Part-Time Physiotherapy Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely with licensed physiotherapists to support patient care and ensure smooth clinic operations. This is an excellent prospect for individuals passionate about healthcare and eager to make a positive impact on patients’ recovery journeys.

Duties

- Assist physiotherapists in implementing treatment plans and exercises for patients
- Prepare treatment areas, equipment, and supplies for therapy sessions
- Support patient mobility and comfort during therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment details
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of treatment spaces in accordance with clinic standards
- Communicate effectively with patients,



providing encouragement and answering basic questions about procedures
- Follow all safety protocols, including infection control procedures and medical terminology standards

Experience

- Prior hospital or healthcare facility experience preferred, especially in acute care settings
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to physiotherapy and patient care
- Experience working with diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to clinical protocols
- Excellent communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient interaction
