Newfound Mechanical Ltd. is looking for qualified Plumbing Journeypersons, Apprentices and Labourers to join our Liverpool team.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Journeyperson Plumber

As a Journeyperson Plumber, you will work across a variety of commercial and industrial job sites, contributing your expertise to complex mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Work with mechanical plumbing and heating systems
- Interpret drawings and specifications to determine system layouts for water supply, drainage, and waste systems
- Ensure work complies with applicable codes, permits, and safety regulations
- Identify and recommend areas for system improvements
- Supervise and mentor apprentice plumbers as required

Apprentice Plumber/Labourer As an Apprentice or Laborer, you will gain hands-on experience working alongside skilled journeypersons on commercial plumbing projects, ensuring all work is completed to code.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist journeypersons with daily tasks on job sites
- Solder, thread, glue, and work with various piping materials
- Follow instructions from supervisors and project leads
- Acquire tools and supplies as directed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Perform additional duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- Appropriate credentials and certifications (where applicable)




- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours: 7am- 5:30pm

Employment Status: Full-Time

Compensation

- Journeyperson wage: $41/hour + 10% vacation pay
- Time-and-a-half after 40 hours/week (average 60 hours/week)
- Potential travel per diem, depending on location
