Job Summary

Unity recruitments are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Polisher to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for enhancing the surface finish of various metal and composite components to meet quality standards. Your expertise will ensure that products are polished to perfection, contributing to the overall excellence of our manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

- Operate polishing equipment and hand tools to achieve desired surface finishes on metal, plastic, or composite parts
- Follow detailed blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate polishing specifications
- Use CNC programming knowledge to set up and adjust polishing machines for different projects
- Inspect finished products using calipers and other measurement tools to verify quality standards are met
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to troubleshoot issues with polishing processes and improve efficiency
- Assist with packaging finished components, ensuring they are protected during storage or shipment

Skills

- Proficiency in operating CNC milling machines,



CNC lathes, press brake machines, and other manufacturing equipment
- Strong understanding of blueprint reading, CAD design, and CNC programming principles
- Experience with Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Skilled in welding, assembly, and mechanical knowledge relevant to manufacturing processes
- Ability to use hand tools, calipers, and basic math skills for precise measurements and adjustments
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, packaging procedures, and forklift operation is a plus
- Knowledge of quality control standards and inspection techniques to ensure high-quality output
- Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD software for part design review and modifications
