Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas, ensuring high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Conduct routine facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, reporting repairs, and ensuring equipment is functioning properly.
- Use specialized cleaning equipment and products safely and effectively to achieve optimal results.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and report any issues or hazards promptly to supervisors for immediate attention.
- Support team efforts during deep cleaning projects or special events to ensure all areas meet cleanliness standards.
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure working environment.
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper storage.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, safety protocols, and use of maintenance tools is an asset.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings or weekends if required.
