What you'll do

- Frame foundational open problems and theoretical bounds as realistic AI research tasks
- Assess model-generated proofs and algorithms for correctness, novelty and significance
- Reproduce numerical results and computational experiments to check whether the research holds up
- Write concise research memos explaining partial solutions, model limitations and recurring failure patterns

Who this is for

- 7–10 or more years of active research experience in computer science or mathematical or computational physics
- Fluent in English
- A strong scholarly research record with recent publications in leading venues and hands-on experience in simulation, numerical analysis, algorithmic implementation or high-performance computing
- No AI experience needed. You bring the expertise; we bring the training on the tools.

Pay and details

- $100–$400 per hour, paid hourly as an independent contractor
- Fully flexible schedule; fully remote, Canada
