Product Development Assistant

Job Summary

Bows & Arrows Inc. is seeking a reliable and experienced Product Development Assistant to assist with the hands-on production of cosmetic, body-care, and natural products. The successful candidate will follow established recipes and production procedures to prepare product batches while maintaining proper cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

- Assist in Developing and testing new skincare and home-care product formulations, documenting results and supporting recipe improvements.
- Measure, mix, heat and blend ingredients for body butters, facial products and home care items with precision and consistency.
- Prepare oils, butters, waxes, herbs and plant-based ingredients for product formulation and production.
- Monitor product batches during heating, cooling and blending, ensuring consistency and adherence to established production methods.
- Inspect product batches for texture, scent, consistency and appearance and report any quality concerns.
- Maintain a clean and safe production setting by sanitizing production tools, equipment and preparation surfaces.

Qualifications

- Previous production or manufacturing experience is required.
- Experience in cosmetic, personal-care,



natural-product, or similar production is an asset.
- Ability to accurately follow recipes, measurements, and production instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and consistency.
- Ability to follow cleanliness and sanitation procedures.
- Comfortable performing repetitive, hands-on production tasks.
- Reliable and able to work effectively independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

- Ability to stand for extended periods while performing production activities.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing approximately 20-30lbs.
- Comfortable working with production equipment, ingredients and preparation tools.
- Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing production requirements.

Pay: $16.95-$20.00 per hour
