Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based at Placeteco Inc. in Cornwall, ON.

The Job

Title role is responsible for supporting the design, production, and quality of non-metallic aerospace and defense components, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams in manufacturing, engineering, and quality assurance. Daily tasks may include reviewing technical specifications, coordinating with production staff, documenting processes, and ensuring adherence to company standards and certifications. The role involves monitoring workflow, resolving issues on the shop floor,



and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will help maintain Placeteco’s high levels of on-time delivery and product quality while promoting safe and efficient operations.

Qualifications

- Ability to work effectively in an aerospace and defense manufacturing environment, with familiarity or interest in composites, machining, thermoforming, and polyurethane casting.
- Robust organizational and time-management skills to support production schedules, documentation, and on-time delivery metrics.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality, with the ability to follow standards aligned with AS9100, ISO 9001, and related quality systems.
- Solid communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with engineering, production, and quality assurance teams on-site.
- Comfort working in a hands-on, on-site role in Cornwall, ON, including adherence to safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
- Relevant education in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience in a production environment.
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries is an asset, as is familiarity with assembly operations such as adhesive bonding, riveting, and hardware installation.
