Job Title: Production Supervisor The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading and independently managing the day-to-day operations of the production shift to ensure the safe, efficient, timely, and cost-effective manufacture of high-quality products. This role owns shift performance and is accountable for achieving production, labor, quality, food safety, service, yield, waste, and productivity objectives.

The Production

Supervisor provides hands-on leadership to production employees, makes real-time operating decisions, allocates labor and resources, manages staffing and overtime, monitors performance, resolves operational issues, and escalates significant risks appropriately. The position requires a leader who can run the shift with limited day-to-day direction while maintaining strong communication with Operations, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, Sanitation, and Human Resources. Lead and independently manage day-to-day operations of the production shift.

Ensure safe, productive, timely, and cost-effective production of high-quality products. Own shift performance and accountability for production, labor, quality, food safety, service, yield, waste, and productivity. Provide hands-on leadership to production employees.

Manage staffing and overtime, monitor performance, resolve operational issues, and escalate significant risks. Maintain strong communication with Operations, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, Sanitation, and Human Resources.

Skills 5 years of production supervisor experience.

Experience supervising 75-100 people per shift. Lean Manufacturing knowledge. ERP working experience. Production planning experience.
