Job Overview

We are seeking experienced and safety-conscious DZ Drivers to operate Rear Pack garbage trucks for waste collection operations in Pickering. Candidates must have direct Rear Pack driving experience and be comfortable working night shifts.

Responsibilities

- Operate a Rear Pack garbage truck safely and efficiently.

- Follow assigned routes and complete waste collection on schedule.

- Collect residential and commercial waste as required.

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

- Report vehicle issues and maintain accurate records.

- Follow all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.

Requirements

- Valid Ontario DZ driver's licence.

- Minimum 1 year of direct Rear Pack truck driving experience.

- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR.

- Availability to work night shifts, including 6:00 PM–6:00 AM.

- Knowledge of waste collection procedures and safety practices.

- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.

- Ability to perform physically demanding duties when required.
