Heavens Fitness Ltd. is seeking a professional, personable Registered Massage Therapist to join our community of health and wellness providers at a private corporate facility in Jamieson Place Tower, 308 4th Avenue, downtown Calgary.

Since 1982, Heavens Fitness has helped people embrace active, healthy lifestyles through fitness and wellness experiences. We are looking for an RMT who shares that commitment and enjoys providing attentive, client-focused care in a professional corporate setting.

About the Prospect

This part time, independent contractor opportunity is well suited to an RMT looking to complement an existing practice or add flexible hours to their schedule.

Massage services are provided exclusively to employees of our corporate client. This is a private facility, and outside clients cannot be accommodated.

We are seeking additional support for the busy year-end season, when bookings typically increase as employees use their remaining massage benefits. Demand may be quieter at other times of the year, so applicants should be comfortable with variable booking volume. Consistent bookings and a fixed number of hours are not guaranteed.

Schedule and Facility

Days and hours are flexible and will be discussed based on your availability, existing coverage, and client demand.

- Current RMT coverage is Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Mondays and Fridays are currently open for additional coverage, although these days can be quieter due to some employees working from home.




- Two wellness rooms allow two RMTs to provide treatments at the same time during busier periods.

Parking is not provided or reimbursed. Contractors are responsible for arranging their own transportation and parking. What We’re Looking For

- A Registered Massage Therapist with a minimum of 2,200 hours of massage therapy education.
- A professional, welcoming approach and a commitment to high-quality client care.
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- The ability to work independently within a corporate wellness environment.
- Flexibility and an understanding that appointment volume varies throughout the year.

- Experience offering cupping, reflexology, or other complementary services is an asset.

Compensation and Contract Terms

- Compensation is based on a percentage of the massage service rate.
- An initial three-month probationary period applies.
- The compensation percentage increases following successful completion of the probationary period.
- Massage service rates are set to align with employee benefit plans.
- The compensation structure will be discussed during the interview process.
