Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products or services that meet their needs
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Maintain attractive product displays through effective merchandising and landscape maintenance techniques
- Provide knowledgeable advice on gardening, horticulture, and landscape products to enhance customer satisfaction
- Support inventory management by organizing stock, conducting stock counts, and replenishing shelves
- Handle customer inquiries via in-store interactions or online channels,
ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution
- Assist with e-commerce order processing and ensure timely fulfillment for online shoppers
Requirements
- Previous experience with POS systems, cashiering, or retail sales is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse customers
- Knowledge of gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance enhances your ability to advise customers effectively
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory, merchandising displays, and customer flow
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to landscape maintenance or stocking shelves
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a positive attitude and proactive approach to sales opportunities
- Basic familiarity with e-commerce platforms and cash handling procedures is advantageous
