We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Sales Manager to lead our GTA retail sales team, serving custom home builders and renovation and remodeling clients. The ideal candidate is a solid people leader with a proven record of sales success and experience developing effective growth strategies. This role offers an opportunity to expand AyA’s market presence, strengthen customer relationships, and contribute to the company’s continued success.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage a team of Designer/Sales Representatives to meet or exceed monthly sales targets and improve closing rates.
- Coach, mentor, and provide strategic guidance to team members to support individual and team performance.
- Develop new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams on customer requirements and new product development.
- Lead contract and commercial negotiations.
- Prepare monthly sales forecasts, performance reports, and business updates.
- Plan and facilitate regular sales meetings.
- Represent AyA at trade shows, industry events, and other promotional activities.
- Travel between the Toronto and Mississauga showrooms and to customer job sites, as required.





Qualifications/ Experience:

- College diploma or university degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field.
- At least five years of retail sales management experience, preferably in the cabinetry, construction, home improvement, or related industry.
- Experience selling to custom home builders and/or renovators is an asset.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and improving team performance.
- Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
