Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Retail Store Manager to lead our retail team at the Grande Prairie location on 100st, who will drive the store to further success. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and implement strategic merchandising and sales initiatives. Your leadership will inspire your team to achieve sales targets, maintain a vibrant store environment, and deliver outstanding shopping experiences.

Duties

- Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory management, and staff scheduling.
- Recruit, train, and develop team members to foster a high-performing, motivated workforce committed to excellence.
- Manage payroll processing, budgeting, and financial reporting to ensure store profitability and operational efficiency.
- Oversee merchandising strategies, pricing accuracy, and product placement to maximize sales and enhance store presentation.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales tracking with precision and integrity.
- Implement marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns to attract customers and increase brand visibility.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, coaching sessions, and staff training on sales techniques, customer service skills, and store policies.

Experience





- Proven supervisory or managerial experience in retail sales or store management with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Solid background in merchandising, pricing strategies, and inventory control.
- Experience with recruiting, training & development, and team supervision in a retail environment.
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash handling procedures, book-keeping, and administrative tasks.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and motivate staff.
- Lead and educate staff with understanding the ID protocols under AHS & Government regulations.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently while handling multiple priorities.
