- Provide proactive updates about milestones, weather delays, scheduling changes, unforeseen conditions, scope changes and additional costs.
- Document unforeseen conditions and scope changes using clear notes and photographs.
- Coordinate pricing and approvals before additional work proceeds whenever practical.
- Keep Jobber updated daily with schedules, notes, photos, customer communication, approved changes, deficiencies and closeout status.
- Maintain consistent communication with the Admin team throughout the workday.
- Make sure the office has the information required for material ordering, customer updates, invoicing, warranty records and project closeout.
- Complete final quality inspections, coordinate deficiency corrections, conduct homeowner walkthroughs and collect closeout photographs and warranty documentation.
- Track schedule variances, material overages, rework, callbacks and crew capacity.
- Identify scheduling or production risks early and recommend corrective action.
Coordination and Decision-Making This position works in close and continuous coordination with the Admin and Operations teams.
The Production Manager may independently adjust crew assignments, crew sequencing and routine day-to-day field operations.
