We are looking to add to our retail team selling confection, alcohol, tobacco, toiletries and assorted convenience items.

Currently we are hiring for early mornings, weekends and holidays. We service the Hamilton Airport region and our hours of operation match that. Some schedule flexibility is required.

We are a relaxed work environment and push an atmosphere of hospitality, respect and overall friendliness within our store. We take pride in the low rate of turnover on our team.

As local transit does not service our immediate area at all hours, reliable transportation to and from your shifts is required.

Smart Serve certification is a requirement as we sell alcohol for retail (not for on-site consumption).

Duties Include:

· Opening and Closing the store so it's ready for customers and for the next shift

· Cash duties including operating the POS systems, verifying counts and cashing out at the end of the day

· Greeting customers,



assisting them as needed and helping to grow our reputation for friendly and warm service

· Receiving deliveries and noting any issues with the product delivered

· Stocking and cleaning throughout the shift

Qualifications Required:

· Prior customer service or retail experience

· Smart Serve Certification

· Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written

· Basic mathematics skills to assist in cashier duties and money-handling

· Transportation to and from work
