SALES SPECIALIST / PROJECT MANAGER — EQUIPMENT, SMALLWARES & JANITORIAL (ES&J;)

Pratts Wholesale Food Service is seeking a motivated, results-driven Sales Specialist / Project Manager to grow our Equipment, Smallwares & Janitorial (ES&J;) business within an established customer base. This role services customers throughout Manitoba & North Western Ontario; candidates must reside in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and be willing to travel territory wide, including occasional overnight travel.

Key Responsibilities

- Achieve and exceed established sales targets
- Maintain or exceed profitability goals across all product categories
- Coordinate projects from initial customer consultation through quotation, ordering, delivery, installation, and project closeout
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships; develop new business
- Visit customer locations to assess needs and recommend solutions
- Prepare accurate quotations and maintain up-to-date AutoQuotes records
- Coordinate and manage ES&J; deliveries
- Increase customer awareness of our ES&J; offerings

Qualifications

- Minimum 3 years of foodservice industry experience (Chef, Kitchen Manager, Banquet Manager, Restaurant Manager, ES&J; Specialist, or related role)
- Previous outside sales experience within the foodservice industry preferred




- Strong understanding of commercial kitchen equipment applications, workflow, and design principles
- Experience managing commercial kitchen equipment projects, including renovations, new construction, and facility upgrades, preferred
- Experience working with contractors, consultants, architects, and end users on foodservice equipment projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with AutoQuotes preferred; advanced AutoQuotes project management experience considered an asset
- AutoCAD experience preferred, including the ability to review and modify equipment layouts and floor plans
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and foodservice equipment schedules
- Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Valid driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle in good working condition
