Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Sandblaster to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing metal components and surfaces through abrasive blasting techniques to ensure they meet quality standards.
Duties
- Operate sandblasting equipment safely and efficiently to clean and prepare metal surfaces
- Set up and adjust abrasive blasting machines according to project specifications
- Inspect parts for surface defects and ensure proper finish quality before moving to next process
- Maintain a clean work area by managing abrasive media and debris disposal in accordance with safety protocols
Qualifications
- Mechanical knowledge with experience handling hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining and assembly techniques
- Very robust attention to details.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
