Forno Cultura is a Toronto-based artisan bakery specializing in traditional Italian baking, handcrafted pastries, and high-quality products made with care and attention to detail.

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking Seasonal Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our pastry production team for November and December.

As a Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward, you will play an essential role in keeping our pastry production kitchen clean, organized, and running efficiently. This is a fast-paced, hands-on position that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a robust work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

- Wash, sanitize, and properly store baking trays, mixing bowls, utensils, equipment, and kitchen tools.
- Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment.
- Keep dishwashing stations, sinks, floors, and production areas clean and organized.
- Assist with general kitchen cleaning and sanitation throughout the shift.
- Remove garbage, recycling, and waste as required.
- Support the pastry production team by ensuring clean equipment and tools are readily available.
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Assist with end-of-shift cleaning and closing duties.





Qualifications
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production kitchen.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team.
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to cleanliness, organization, and food safety.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings and weekends if required.
