Overview

We are seeking energetic and reliable Seasonal Snow Removal Labourers / Shovelers to join our team during the winter months. In this role, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from various properties, ensuring safe access for clients and the public. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work outdoors, stay active, and contribute to community safety during challenging winter conditions.

Responsibilities

- Remove snow and ice from sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, and other designated areas using shovels, or snow blowers,
- Apply salt or other de-icing materials to prevent ice buildup and ensure safety
- Conduct inspections of work sites to identify hazards or areas needing additional attention
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas after snow removal tasks are completed
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts promptly

Qualifications & Requirements

- Must be available 24/7 on call throughout the winter season.
- Reliable transportation to and from work.
- Ability to work outdoors in cold, snowy and icy conditions.




- Physically capable of performing repetitive shoveling, lifting and walking for extended periods.
- Ability to operate small machinery such as snow blowers or similar equipment
- Dependable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Previous snow removal or landscaping experience is an asset but not required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends and holidays.
