Duties

- Assist with the installation, removal, and balancing of tires on a variety of vehicles using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and maintenance tasks, including fluid checks and minor repairs under supervision.
- Support the team with general labour duties such as cleaning work areas, organizing inventory, and moving equipment or parts safely.
- Handle customer interactions professionally by providing information about services and scheduling appointments when needed.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues and assist mechanics with more complex repairs or diagnostics.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations,



including heavy lifting and equipment handling.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and supporting colleagues during busy periods.

Skills

- Previous dealership or automotive repair experience is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with familiarity using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
- Solid customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and repairs to assist mechanics effectively.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to tire technology, vehicle maintenance, and general labour tasks.
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact positively with customers.
