Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, alert, and safety-conscious Security Traffic Control Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing vehicle and pedestrian traffic, maintaining safe and orderly access to designated areas, and supporting security operations at entrances, exits, parking areas, and work sites. This role requires strong communication skills, sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to respond calmly to changing traffic conditions and potential safety concerns.

Candidates with experience in security, traffic control, or public safety are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

- Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic to ensure safe and orderly movement.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and designated areas to maintain security and safety.
- Set up and maintain traffic cones, signs, and barriers as required.
- Provide clear directions and assistance to drivers, visitors, and pedestrians.
- Observe and report safety hazards, suspicious activities, or incidents to supervisors.
- Maintain a secure, organized work area and follow all security and safety procedures.

Requirements:

- Ontario Security Guard Licence is required.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a team.




- Ability to stand for extended periods and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Previous experience in security or traffic control is an asset

Mandatory Requirements

- Must have valid security guard license
- Must have Traffic control certification or willing to get one
- First aid and CPR standard level required
- Willing to work in outdoor construction site environments while wearing appropriate PPE.

Licence/Certification:
- Security Guard Licence (preferred)
- Traffic Control Certification (preferred)
