We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our financial team. In this pivotal role, you will lead complex accounting functions, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization. Your expertise will support internal and external audits, manage risk assessments, and optimize accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
- Preparing month end and year end reports and variance analysis
- Lead internal audits by evaluating internal controls, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely processing and reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software (NAVISION) to record transactions, generate reports, and maintain comprehensive financial records.
- Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations of financial data.
- Conduct analysis of financial data to identify trends, discrepancies,



or potential issues requiring attention.

Skills:

- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- CA, CMA or CGA Designation or in final stages
- Experience working in manufacturing environment an asset
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards with proven analysis skills.
- Proficiency with accounting software systems; NAVISION an asset
- Knowledge of internal audit procedures and compliance requirements.
- Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating across teams and presenting findings clearly.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining accuracy.
- Proficient in excel (V-look up, Pivot tables).
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle are required.
