Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support financial reporting, full-cycle accounting, budgeting, compliance reporting, and financial analysis across multiple business units in real estate. Maintain accurate and consistent general ledgers across multiple business units Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses Manage full-cycle accounting responsibilities, including month-end close processes Prepare and file GST returns, including self-assessments and rebate claims Investigate financial variances and identify potential operational or accounting issues Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for senior leadership Contribute to process improvements and support special projects within the finance department 5+ years of progressive accounting experience within a medium to large organization ~ Strong full-cycle accounting and financial reporting experience ~ Property management accounting experience and ideally proficiency with Yardi Voyager ~ Robust Microsoft Excel skills ~ CPA designation is considered an asset
